For those who have been waiting for the MJHL Virden Oil Capitals to start their season the wait is over. Training camp begins today at 1:30pm and runs until 10pm.
Training camp continues on Friday and Saturday (times here) and culminates with the inter-squad game which is being held on Saturday at 5pm in the Arena at Tundra Oil and Gas Place.
Sunday, September 9th the MJHL Virden Oil Capitals will be playing their first ever exhibition game against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the Arena at Tundra Oil and Gas Place beginning at 7:30pm.
The new Sports Track should be open to the public today as well for all our walking groups and for athletic training.
Also coming up in Tundra Oil and Gas Place this week is the Communities in Bloom Conference which takes place in the Community/ Banquet Hall on Friday, September 7th and Saturday, September 8th.
And just a short walk away at the Virden Agricultural/ Rodeo grounds is the Kelly Stuart Ranch Rodeo which takes place this Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th.
