Jay-Z and Beyonce have a baby girl who already has a following on Twitter.
Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby could be getting a new Twitter handle ? without even knowing it. The tweeter behind @beyoncejayfetus ? which ranked 73rd in Paste magazine?s Top 100 Twitter accounts ? tells us he?s evolving to reflect the birth of Blue Ivy Carter on Saturday.
The tweeter, who requested anonymity, has already started @hovajr, but ultimately may go with something more similar to his current handle before switching over his 10,740 followers.
?I think (the account) is going to be less popular now,? the social media fiend tells us, explaining that ?it was the excitement of not knowing the sex? or the name of the superstar couple?s child that kept the account popular. Lucky for the tweeter, he has a backup plan: He says he?s in discussions to option his other account, @jadedjew, which has fewer than 200 followers, for development into a TV show.
President Obama's re-election campaign has found a musical way to tell its NYC supporters ?Let?s Stay Together.? On Jan. 19, the President will cap off a fundraising visit to the city at an event at the Apollo Theater in Harlem where he?lll be serenaded by soul singers Al Green and India.Arie. Lin-Manuel Miranda, who wrote and starred in the Broadway show ?In the Heights,? is also billed as a ?Special Guest.? Ticket prices for the remaining seats range from $200 to $5,000. The top price entitles the donor to a photo line reception, premium seating and a VIP reception with the performers.
Jennifer Koppelman Hutt is looking to make it on her own. The ?Whateverland? co-author and daughter of former Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia chairman Charles Koppelman, will launch her own radio show, ?Just Jenny,? on Sirius XM Stars Monday. Hutt had a similar show on Stewart?s SiriusXM channel that she co-hosted with the homemaker?s daughter Alexis Stewart, but a source tells us the two are no longer collaborators ? or friends.
After working together for nearly six years on satellite radio and late-night TV, our source says ?Alexis doesn?t want to be friends anymore? with Hutt. A rep for Stewart could not be reached, but Hutt confirmed that she and Alexis aren?t speaking because, ?I like to talk to everybody and make friends,? which is ?the part of me she can?t stand.?
Cameron Diaz has put plenty of distance between herself and her ex-beau. While Alex Rodriguez and his new galpal froze in NYC last week, Diaz was chilling in Hawaii. A source at the timeshare in Kona where Diaz was staying says the newly bobbed bombshell vacationed there with her sister, Chimene, and a bunch of girlfriends. Diaz hit the gym and the driving range, and, one night, gorged on a steak dinner with her gal-pals. (She has since returned to Los Angeles.) Last year this time, Diaz did Hawaii with A-Rod.
Fun ruled at the party for the second-season screening of IFC?s ?Portlandia? on Thursday. David Cross got down on his knee and kissed our friend's hand when she declared herself a fan of the ?Arrested Development? actor at the Museum of Natural History soiree.
Then there was Bill Hader: After overhearing us overuse the word ?crazy? in conversation with our pal, Hader sauntered over, bumped our friend?s drink, pointed to it and said: ?Now, that's crazy.? Yep. Series stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein and singer/songerwriter St. Vincent were also in the house.
