ATHENS, Greece (AP) -Police say a group of youths on motorcycles attacked an Olympiakos supporters' club in Athens, damaging the premises as well as 10 cars and 5 storefronts. No injuries have been reported.
The perpetrators, who used clubs and rocks but wore no identifying team insignia, left the scene quickly and police are looking for them.
Attacks on football fan clubs are frequent in Greece, which has seen an increase in supporter violence in recent years.
Police suspect the attack was carried out in retaliation for a similar incident against a Panathinaikos fans' club last week. In that attack, a kiosk owner who witnessed the incident was stabbed but not seriously injured.
