Summer is quickly winding down and so is the time you will have to do all those things with your family. This weekend make a plan to do all those summer things that you didn?t do or even redo the ones that you just enjoyed the most. I have an even better idea; paint your house with water! No I am not crazy, I said paint he house with water.
This is fun for kids better they feel like they are doing something grown-up and it is non-toxic for them. All you need to do is give them a bucket with water and big fat paint brush. Then you just turn them loose. Tell them they can paint the house, the trees, the sidewalk, anything they want (except the car! This is not good idea on the car.)
My kids still do this except now I add some dish liquid to the water and they clean the house or the porch as they are doing it. On the porch this makes a big mess but then we just spray it off with the hose and I spray them down as well. They spend hours painting the house without complaining one time.
