One of NASHVILLE?s own has been affected by recent HURRICANE SANDY. PLA MEDIA Publicist CARLA CARAMANNA?s family lived on one of NEW JERSEY?s barrier islands and lost everything in last week?s storm (NET NEWS 10/29). Additionally, in the midst of the total loss, CARLA?s father passed away on SATURDAY after suffering a heart attack.
PLA MEDIA has set up a fund to assist the CARAMANNA family, who will not be allowed to rebuild their home for over a year (if they choose to do so). Their source of income, a family business, was also destroyed in the storm. The fund will assist with their basic needs, temporary housing, and the necessities needed to begin rebuilding their lives.
CARAMANNA will be staying with her family for the forseeable future. PLA MEDIA staff will handle her clients during her departure.
